To be done properly, any work on historic buildings requires specific expertise and knowledge. As exhibited in the work contained here, Torchio Architects have restored, preserved, adapted to new uses, renovated and expanded many historic buildings. These projects have been executed following The Secretary of the Interior’s Standards for Rehabilitation which is the industry norm and is required on projects receiving state or federal funding or incentives. We have helped many clients take advantage of state and federal funding and historic preservation tax credits. Whether restoring a building to its original spender following years of decay or fire damage, reviving a derelict structure by adapting it to a new use or preserving a unique example of the past, our work with historic buildings has been very rewarding.
